We’re Gonna Take This Sitting Down
The Intensity Never Left Him

There aren’t enough words in the unabridged dictionary to thank you, Nam Y. Huh from the Associated Press, for remembering why we loved ol’ Dan Dakich in the first place. He and Indiana won their first game on the road at Northwestern, 85-82.
I like to imagine that, moments before this photo, Dakich merely flexed and his sportcoat flew off.

I like how he’s imagining a clipboard is still clutched between his hands, when, in reality, I’m sure it was flung downward moments before the jacket flew off!
That’s also his Xbox face. The controller almost fits.
Someone is in a Dan Dakich trance and can’t break free.
I can’t wait to see his sideline interview against OSU…
Erin Andrews: Tell me what you saw in the first half.
DD: You can ask me what I saw, and I’ll tell you, but I’m not going to stand here and be told what to do by a UF Dazzler just because I’ve got “interim” next to my name.
THAT’S A WAR FACE, SON. NOW LEMME SEE YOUR WAR FACE.
THE WHEELS ON THE BUS GO ROUND AND ROUND… SING WITH ME, DAMMIT! SING!
