Reason #216 Not To Bet On NASCAR

Winding down a rousing weekend in Vegas, I decided to take my first venture into a sportsbook with the following wager:

4½-1 odds! That’s a pretty good payoff if it happens. And how’d he/I do?

All right, I kind of deserved that.

Maybe the ticket will carry over to next week. It’s also called the Camping World RV 400.

(This week, “Presented by AAA”, next week, “Presented by Coleman”.)

There can be no doubt about Kyle Busch’s talent as a driver. And, being booted from the Hendrick stable to make room for jr. gives him great motivation. But the bottom line is the guy is an as**ole. When you look up schadenfreude, it should mention his bad luck in the chase and show my ugly, but smiling face!

Suss, at least you didn’t watch the race, where he basically said that he quit on the Chase and on his team.

In essence, yeah, he’s an asshole. And a wuss too.

But you weren’t wrong to bet on him. More than a few experts picked him to win this past weekend. He won the Spring race.

Best bet right now is either Jimmie Johnson, Carl Edwards, or the Biff. But the Biff will probably fade…

    …butthead.
